Situated on the former Brookside Farm, Sun Valley Farm’s immediate neighbors include our own Stonegate Broodmare Division, and leading farms Ashford/Coolmore, Lane’s End, Diamond A Farm, Darley/Gainsborough Farm and Pin Oak Stud. Carefully managed feed rations and more than 325 acres of bluegrass are the center of our success. Sun Valley Farm and Stonegate Broodmare Division are very pleased to have Connie Brown, DVM as a dedicated member of our staff. During the breeding season, Dr. Brown is on the farm at 7AM each day to ensure proper communication with the various breeding farms, and lives on her own Fairview Farm next door.

The Kentucky Thoroughbred Breeders’ Incentive Fund has projected $12,000,000 in funds annually to benefit those who raise Kentucky-breds. Your own Kentucky-bred can “keep you in the game” with residuals long after selling your yearling. Under the Kentucky program, you will receive 25% of your homebreds earnings anytime he wins a stakes, maiden or allowance race in Kentucky.
